Overview: The KPMG Office services team has an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated mailroom clerk to join the Calgary office in a permanent position. In this role, you will combine your excellent communication, listening and organizational skills to work well as a team member in a shared work environment.
The role involves handling of all incoming and outgoing mail and couriers in the mailroom. Other tasks include, but not limited to, Printing, managing a mailbox for all incoming requests from stakeholders and understanding their needs. What you will do:
  • Perform routine services associated with receipt, sorting and delivery of mail and packages.
  • Effectively and efficiently handle incoming and outgoing mail (sorting and delivering)
  • Monitor eFax mailbox (receive all centralized incoming faxes and notify recipients)
  • Pick up and deliver parcels and packages within assigned area including small scale office moving
  • Courier duties which include minimal computer usage in order to assign delivery instructions for each parcel.
  • Reviews and reconciles all appropriate invoices
  • Maybe responsible for set up and break down meeting room including delivery of additional furniture/fixtures.
  • Receive, digitize and direct all KPMG correspondence.
  • Respond to file records queries and requests
  • Coordinate with offsite storage facility for pick up and/or delivery of files/boxes
  • Responsible for ensuring quality printing and collation, on a timely basis (Financial statements, Reports, Proposals, Tax returns, Presentations, etc.)

At times, business needs arise, and employees are required and agree to work beyond their normal workday or work week to fulfill the accountabilities required for their job. Likewise, people need time to devote to personal matters, and our approach to flexibility provides for this. What you bring to this role:
  • Basic use of personal computers and knowledge of Microsoft office software
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Require experience to make judgment call on certain types of shipments and carriers.
  • Experience with mail sorting and postage meter machine is an asset
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage workload
  • Well organized with a sharp attention to detail
  • A team player, friendly and receptive with the ability to demonstrate a flexible and positive attitude always.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, working in a professional legal environment and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Excellent commitment to providing quality and responsive customer service
  • Proven ability to take responsibility and ownership for tasks
