In Canada, we have about 1.3 million empty houses. Furthermore, the houses we do have, are typically underutilized. We lack good data, but many houses with 3 or 4 bedrooms may have 1 or 2 people living in them. This situation can lead to few rentals and homeowners struggling to pay large mortgages. Sweep and Sleep create another rental option for homeowners besides renting their whole house out or Airbnb. It serves the local market and is less risky than whole-house rentals.
OUR UNIQUE SOLUTION
We are looking for someone passionate about changing the world for the better and has a desire to master the tools of social media to share our message and services. Our main product, Sweep and Sleep is a unique way to live, both for working people and travelers. Think of Airbnb but for a month at a time where you join a house community. One of our core deliverables is a quiet and clean house at an economical price. However, we also provide a friendly house group where you can go anywhere in the world and quickly make acquaintances and friends. We empower our "roomies" to make a great place to live by putting them in charge of selecting new roomies and implementing our simple but effective cleaning system. Goodbye long-term leases and moving furniture and roomies who don't do their dishes. Hello great houses, all set up, clean and quiet, and surrounded by super nice roomies.
We have built the system over 5 years. We are looking for a creative, energetic. Ideally, we would like this person to be part of our long-term team, growing with the company. We believe more positions in the organization will open up as we grow and we would like to promote from inside the company.

BRAND DEVELOPMENT
We are looking to build a brand roomie and homeowners can trust. What we are looking to build is a trust-centered company. Both roomies and landlords will look to us as a safe haven in the rental world. To do this, we are looking to develop 3 initiatives. The first is to continue heading the Room Rental Society. We started this to help all landlords and roommates who rent rooms be successful. We need to contact potential new members. Advertise our services. Post messages re issues related to current issues.
Build social trust on the net using Trust Pilot, Better Business, and Google Reviews. We want to be responsive to customers' comments and do everything in our power to provide a great service and ensure this delivery is reflected in our public perception.
REQUIRED:
We are looking for a person with initiative, drive, and passion. A responsible person who can set goals and make strong attempts and complete them. We are looking for a person who we can easily stay in touch with during the internship, typically we use Whatsapp throughout the day to check-in and update team members. We use Zoom to conduct larger meetings. We do need someone with good English skills so that postings, messages, and stories read well.
BONUS:
In life, almost everything else can be learned. However, it would be outstanding to have a person who understands social media marketing and who can take the lead in directing and implementing these strategies in the major channels of Facebook, Facebook business, Google, Google business, Twitter, Instagram, Instagram business, Youtube, and others. Experience with creating content. Experience with Video creation and image improvement software (possibly Adobe Premiere or Corel) is a bonus.
