Position Summary
The Data Entry Clerk รข" Inventory responsibility is to organize and maintain all data related to inventory, and ensure the completeness and accuracy of the information within the ERP system. This position will be computer savvy and a fast and accurate typist with a keen eye for detail. Understanding of data confidentiality principles is compulsory. Heritage will rely on this position to have accurate and updated data that is easily accessible through a digital database.

Job Duties
- Obtain inventory data from various sources and prepare data for entry
- Generate spreadsheets containing accurate information
- Confirm the inserted data through reviewing, assessing, removing, or re-inserting data
- Combine all duplicates of information
- Ensure a well-orchestrated working system that allows for documents and information to be easily traced, after work has been completed
- Examine information to identify errors, deficiencies, and data mismatches
- Rectify errors and sort the information to optimize efficient and accurate entering of data
- Resolve data deficiencies and errors by consistently adhering to and following the standard procedures
- Inform the relevant stakeholders of errors or deficiencies in data
- Conduct thorough troubleshooting to find the resolution for incomplete documents, and through comparing data from different systems
- Escalate complex incomplete documents and errors for resolution
- Follow up on all outstanding and incomplete documents
- Ongoing verification and cleaning of ERP data to ensure data is valid and up to date
- Participate in cycle counts for monthend and quarterly closing
- Assist with additional administrative and ad-hoc duties as required
Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- 1-2 years experience in data entry;
- ERP data entry an asset;
- Fast typing skills;
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment;
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.);
- Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices;
- Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills.

- Satisfactory completion of a criminal record check
