Ashley HomeStore Canada - The Dufresne Group is currently seeking a Class 1 Driver for our Calgary Distribution Centre located at Bay 65-5805 76th Avenue SE.
As a Class 1 Driver you will work as part of a team to provide exceptional delivery service to our customers.

As a Class 1 Driver, you will:
Understand and follow all safe work practices and rules
Delivery and pick up of product at various vendors using semi tractor and 27' and 53' trailers
Conduct "post and pre†trip audits as required to meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Complete all assigned documentation related to the delivery of product
Spotting of trailers required
As a successful candidate you will have the following:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent skills and experience
Experience operating a Manual Transmission
Experience with hand tools an asset
Ability to speak with customers and co-workers at a conversational level
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Must be able to read item numbers and product descriptions on delivery paperwork
Perform simple written paperwork recording
1 year of Class 1 Driver experience
Valid Class 1 Driver's license with "air brake†endorsement.
Clean Driver's abstract.
Must be reliable and able to work a flexible schedule
Available to change schedule with short notice
Available to work overtime as required
Able to work in extreme temperatures
Criminal Record Check required
