Human Resources Coordinator

High Prairie, AB

Reporting to the HR Supervisor, the HR Coordinator is responsible for implementing and coordinating division level human resource programs in alignment with the operational and corporate HR strategy. This includes executing an effective hourly recruitment and selection process, working with management to roll out programs related to the retention and engagement of employees, safety, and other training programs, administering the divisional disability/claims management program, and supporting performance management processes for hourly employees at the division.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 3 years administrative experience, experience in HR is considered an asset
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a geographically dispersed team
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline is considered an asset
  • A continuing record of professional development would be considered an asset
  • Working knowledge of HR systems, including applicant tracking, performance management etc.
  • Strong working knowledge of Employment Standards and WCB
  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks whilst maintaining attention to detail
