Bow River Veterinary Centre is a progressive veterinary practice offering full veterinary care services to the community for over 20 years. We are looking for an experienced Client Care Representative to provide our clients with the highest level of customer service and the very best care during veterinary visits. This is a busy small animal practice located in Canmore, Alberta. The standard of care for our patients encompasses safety, comfort, and compassion while practicing progressive, high-quality medicine with the assistance of modern medical equipment and diagnostic testing. Our veterinary care team has been carefully selected for their level of knowledge, experience, and proven ability to provide compassionate care.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer care
- Answer phones, book appointments, check and respond to emails, take detailed messages and respond to client needs
- Perform Medical follow-ups and reminders
- Record patient weights and medical history
- Maintain and update client records in our practice management software
- Assist our technicians and veterinarians with patient care
- Maintain the cleanliness of the hospital
- Communicate with clients
- Stock shelves and place inventory orders
Job Requirements:
As our ideal candidate, you will:
- Be comfortable handling animals
- Have prior experience assisting with medical procedures, administering medication and client care
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have the ability to learn medical terminology
- Be comfortable working under pressure, while keeping calm
- Have a sense of good judgment
- Be proactive and take initiative to work effectively without supervision
- Be able to prioritize your workload, and multitask in a high paced environment
- Be flexible to work some evenings/weekends
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Basic computer competency
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
