Veterinary Assistant position at Willow Park Animal Clinic in SE Calgary.
A Veterinary Assistant required immediately full time Tues to Sat.
Must be able to work with companion animals, flexible, detail oriented, complete tasks on schedule and have excellent interpersonal and telephone skills.
You will be expected to perform a variety of tasks: mainly assisting the veterinary nurse (Holding for treatments, cleaning kennels, setting up lab samples, cleaning instruments), hospital maintenance (vacuuming, mopping, dusting, disinfecting the hospital) and some reception duties (greeting clients and patients, answering phones, completing invoices).
Clinic experience an asset but willing to train the ideal candidate.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
