This is no different from the Human Resources Coordinator we are currently searching for. Reporting to our company Controller, this talented and passionate individual will function as a support bridge between our employees and the leadership team. This "support bridge” will support all HR administrative and tactical requirements from recruitment and onboarding to team member relations and performance measurement and feedback.

What you can expect in your first 90-days on the job

  • The Human Resources function at Ackard is new, requiring you to become acquainted with the systems we have already introduced.

- HRIS implementation and ongoing data input.

- Recruitment and Onboarding â€" Screening, interviewing, background checks etc.

- Company Newsletter â€" Build and distribute.

- Payroll and benefits.

  • Many systems and procedures still are still in development, so you will need to start thinking about what additional items need to be considered just as there are existing systems.

- HRIS implementation and ongoing data input.

- Performance measurement and feedback

  • You will quickly become the "go-to” for many of the Ackard team. This includes leaders from various departments that you will need to become acquainted with quickly.

What you can expect in your first 6-12 months on the job

  • At this stage of the game, you are familiar with most of the managers you support and work with. A detailed understanding of their day-to-day needs will be essential for you to know.
  • You have completed implementing most of the new HR systems that the company committed to.
  • You are now building additional procedures and tools for the company to ensure their people management practices are sound.

So far, so good? If so, make sure you can demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and education to ensure you are set for success.

Degree/Diploma in Human Resources Management.

  • Minimum 3-years experience with multiple client groups.
  • Solid working knowledge of employment standards, regulations, and human rights legislation.
  • Strong client support skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Analytical skills.

Salary: $51,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
