Job description

This position involves leading teams responsible for field supervision, site leads, and mobile security efficiently, and effectively on daily basis. The Operations Supervisor executes daily and weekly operational plans to meet and exceed each client's requirements under the direction of the Operations Manager.

Role:

• Motivating and supervising employees.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage daily or weekly assignments for supervisors and security officers. Also evaluate their productivity.
• Promote occupational health and safety measures and ensure that all related requirements are met and that associates work safely at all times
• Ensure daily operations are completed according to set Post Orders for each location.
• Follow up on team quality and productivity results as needed
• Take necessary measures concerning team members who do not comply with set quality and productivity standards
• Ensure compliance with HSE and HR polices.
• Run start-of-shift meetings
• Identify and analyze risks and opportunities for improvement and support the implementation of corrective actions
• Conduct investigations following incidents/accidents and propose action plans
• Foster a good working environment within your team, and promote the company's values daily
• Fill out and analyze various documents and reports, and make the necessary corrections or give recommendations to the Manager, Operations to improve operations
• Recruiting/promoting quality employees to provide high-quality security services
• Perform all other related tasks

The qualifications we are looking for:

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar supervision position
• Candidates with knowledge of security industry or law enforcement maybe preferred.
• A high school diplomas.
• A bachelor's or associate degree in operations management or business management may be advantageous.
• Leadership, rigour, efficiency, and openness to change
• Comfortable using computers and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to make decisions quickly, as well as to work in groups and under pressure
• Approach oriented on customer service and results
• Excellent communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $44,341.00-$50,119.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• On call

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Calgary, AB T3J5H3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Security Guards: 3 years (preferred)
• Supervising: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Security license? (preferred)
• First Aid Certification (preferred)
