Ideal candidates will have at least one year of clerical experience, including payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, employee services, and operations. Successful candidates are self-starters who can work independently with little supervision.
Job responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll for hourly station employee and distribute payroll checks on payday; follow up with Corporate payroll department when discrepancies arise
- Submit invoices and billing to Corporate finance office for timely processing
- Handle incoming calls, distribute incoming mail, process outgoing mail, type correspondence, and maintain files for the station
- Schedule applicants for interviews with station management, schedule new hires for training, and process station uniform orders
- Assist with station operations as needed
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate strong communication skills to interact professionally with team members and customers
- Possess strong computer skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook software
- Be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma, GED or work experience equivalent
- Obtain a 5year airport security clearance which includes an extensive employment, criminal record and residence background check
- Proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a vaccine recognized by the Public Health Agency of Canada
Physical Requirements:
- Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
