Located in the heart of downtown Calgary, AB and reporting to the Assistant VP, Manager AR-collections, this incumbent will be an enthusiastic, outgoing individual who will be a member of the Billing Operations AR team responsible for supporting the Manager and other AR roles by managing customer communications, i.e., payment notices and inquiries, assist with customer third party portal submissions and other tasks for payments and collections activities.

- Daily management of AR@ central email for client communications; remittance details, requests for further information, completion of forms, sending of documents [banking details, ACH forms, W-9] or routing of question or disputes to team members across billing team for resolution. Ensure timely handling, escalation, or redirection of all requests.â©Prepare daily updates to bank account tracking excel files for all AR cash received ensuring support for payments is saved as supporting documentation from lockbox and email advices.â©Monthly basis once billing is complete manage the upload of customer documents (invoice, credit memo, debit memo) to customer third party portals where these have been authorized by the Manager AR-Collections or VP Billing Operations.â©For external emails to customers, maintain tracking for all US Tax forms sent for submission through JIRA to Morgan Stanley tax teams.â©For Canada customers, if in the office, prepare weekly deposits for cheques received.â©Assist with customer account investigation and clean-up. Communicate with clients to ensure our records align and as needed coordinate the necessary entries for refunds or journal entry adjustments between entities or different accounts where misapplications have occurred.â©Back-up for Zuora payment applications position.â©Other general duties supporting the teams such as special projects and system testing as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
- â©Accounting diploma considered an asset.â©Work experience programs in areas of accounting or AR would be beneficial.â©Proven customer service skills: ability to balance internal and external client requirements.â©Desire to develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills.â©Strong attention to detail, aptitude for working with numerical information.â©Past success with effective time management and prioritization of tasks.â©Fast & accurate data entry skills.â©Demonstrated effectiveness with both oral and written communication.â©Demonstrated competency with common technology and technical concepts, including but not limited to email, internet, Excel and Word, Accounting Systems/ERP.â©Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment which includes ongoing learning and training opportunities.â©Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
