Jardeg is hiring Pipeline Labourers to join our CNRL Horizon project team on site near Fort McMurray, Alberta. This is a full-time permanent position on a 7/7 rotation, 11.5 hours per day.
Perform various general construction activities such as:
Use of rigging equipment such as slings, shackles, chainfalls, etcRig up spools, valves, blinds, etc. for removal and installation
Working safely alongside mobile equipment such as telehandlers, mobile crane, etc
Assisting Pipefitters with alignment and bolt up on 24" - 42" pipe
Erect and take down skid piles.
Assist with stringing activities.
Manual material handling.
Operate hand and power tools.
Clean and prepare sites.
Perform spotting for various types of equipment as well as overhead powerlines.
Understanding and following safety management system and core values.
This is a fly-in/fly-out position and as such will be subject to the Government of Canada's mandatory COVID-19 vaccination requirements:
Depending on your Vaccination status, it is a requirement to follow these instructions. Fully Vaccinated (2 shots + 14 days) – Proof of vaccination and a rapid test done within 72 hours of travel (if you have been off CNRL site for more than 30 days).
Partially Vaccinated (1 shot) – Proof of 1 shot, and a PCR test done within 72 hours of travel.
Unvaccinated – If you are not vaccinated, you will not be permitted to board your charter flight as per Site and Federal Regulations.
Driving – If you are driving to site, you will require proof of a negative rapid test within 72 hours of travel.As of December 21, in order to access any CNRL facility you will be required to be fully vaccinated.
Minimum Requirements
Previous pipeline experience
Physical strength and stamina
Manual dexterity
Safety conscious attitude
Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
Confined Space Entry (OSSA or ESC)
Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection (OSSA or ESC)
Valid Government Issued Identification
Preferred Qualifications
Any experience running equipment
Any trade experience
Pipeline experience would be considered
