As a Staff Accountant with Western Financial Group, you will be a key member of the Financial Reporting team. You will provide insight and analysis on crucial general ledger accounts.

Here is what a typical day looks like

- Identify and prepare all journal entries as required ↩
- Assist in preparation of financial reports and regulatory reports for Executive team & Board meetings, including templates for reporting and initial analysis as required ↩
- Respond to internal client inquiries and follow through on resolution of issues ↩
- Ensure financial processes and controls are followed appropriately and effectively↩
- Provide cross-departmental coverage for Accounts Payable and Treasury

The value you bring

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or Commerce an asset ↩
- Previous experience with balance sheet reconciliation and financial reporting is preferred but not required ↩
- Adept at creating pivot tables and Excel formulas
↩
