Qualifications:

· Previous field survey experience as a junior surveyor or survey assistant

· post-secondary education in Geomatics or engineering would be considered an asset but not required

· Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions

· Highly organized and detail oriented

· Strong aptitude in mathematics and spatial awareness

· Ability to communicate efficiently with the survey manager

· Positive and team-oriented attitude

· Willingness to learn

• Safety oriented

· Valid Driver’s license'

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Setup RTK equipment

· Place and monitor survey control

· Grade and slope staking for heavy civil construction

· As built construction and send data to survey manager

Additional Information:

· Effective start date: Immediately

· Full Time position

· 10 to 12 hours per day, shift is 14 & 14

· Working primarily in the Elkford, BC (camp provided) & Cranbrook area

· Must be able to pass pre-employment D&A testing

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 11 months

Salary: $32.00-$40.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
