The New Product and Service Introduction (NPSI) team is a high-performing team of ambitious project managers, focused on ensuring thorough business/operational readiness for new product/service launches, always having both the technician and the customer in mind at every step of the way. We drive results through cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving, coupled with precision execution and change management. We operate in the demanding and fast-paced area of new products and services, off the beaten path where we must navigate ambiguity together in a collaborative environment and continually develop and execute on a roadmap to drive value to the business through initiatives and programs led by various stakeholders across the organization.
What you'll do
In this role, you will successfully spearhead operational readiness for new product/service introduction projects through:
- Project Management - use your project management expertise to lead cross-functional teams, bringing valuable input and organized planning skills to the group
- Collaboration - working in close partnership with all stakeholders throughout the project
- Communication - efficiently communicate and update on project progress at all levels within the organization
- Ownership - take ownership and be accountable for end-to-end project delivery
- Learning - gain an understanding of the intricacies of front line technician work, processes and tools and how to best implement change to ensure an excellent technician and customer experience
- Problem Solving - leverage your strong problem solving skills to successfully tackle challenges throughout the project phases
- Thought Leadership - directly affect change by bringing thought leadership and best practices to the team to help us continually improve processes, knowledge and partner engagement

Great-to-haves
- Field experience as a Telecommunications Technician would be considered an asset
- Experience with project management methodologies, principles and practices
- TELUS TV, HSIA, SmartHome Security and/or wHSIA product knowledge
- Bachelor of Business, Engineering or equivalent education and/or experience (e.g. experience working in a customer-facing role such as Professional Services, Sales or Customer Success Management)
