Remote Work:
This position is eligible for remote work, within Canada, under our mobile workforce program.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts internal audits of the Company maintenance organization in accordance with the Maintenance Control Manual.
- Assist and support hte performance of vendor audits for Approved Vendor List in accordance with the Maintenance Control Manual.
- Conducts surveillance of activities as described in maintenance agreements to ensure compliance with the policies and procedures.
- Ensures Corrective Action Plan (CAP); this includes completion, follow-up and trending, in accordance with the requirements of the Maintenance Control Manual, section 8 and Procedures Manual, section 8.
- Ensures compliance with the QA and SMS requirements of this manual.
- Performs other duties and assignments as requested by the Director, Quality Assurance/Safety.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Transport Canada M, E, or S license, or demonstrate equivalent experience and knowledge of Quality Systems within the aviation industry.
- 6 year's experience working in transport category aircraft organizations.
- DHC-8-400 experience an asset may be required to take a FAM or Endorsement Course.
- Display adequate knowledge of industry practices and understanding of the responsibilities associated with this position.
- Complete on-the-job training regarding auditing depending on experience level as determined by the Director of Airworthiness.
- Completion of a recognized Quality Assurance Auditor Training Course in aviation preferred.
- Qualify for a RAIC Pass
- Passport or other required documentation for travel outside Canada
- Valid drivers license
