We are seeking a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Coordinator to support the Facilities Services team in Edmonton on various health and safety initiatives.

The successful inclumbant will be accountable for, but not limited to:
Development of safety related training and e-learning.
Review, and continuously update organizational codes of practice to ensure alignment to current occupational safety standards.
Safety Inspection reviews and follow up
Update HSE tracking portal data
Capturing, entering, and reviewing HSE related data; special projects
Procedure and form reviewsFirst Aid rosters for all sites

Qualifications and skills we are looking for;
Certificate or diploma in an Occupational Health and Safety program, or currently enrolled in an Occupational Health and Safety program.
One year of relevant experience.
Sound understanding of health and safety initiatives.
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Familiarity with Microsoft Office
Occasional travelling to our various locations will be required
