Autism Partnership & Behaviour Therapy and Learning Centre are agencies dedicated to providing behaviour intervention and educational programming for children with autism and other developmental disabilities, and their families. Specializing in the use of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Discrete Trial Teaching, we believe in comprehensive intervention/programming designed to meet the unique, individual needs of each child we work with.
AP is one of the largest and most established Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) service providers for autism spectrum disorders, providing high quality treatment to individuals with autism. At this time, autism is the fastest growing developmental disability in the world. Predominantly home-based services are provided, devoted to enhancing overall quality of life through treatment focused upon the development of improved communication and social skills, self-help and adaptive functioning skills, play and leisure skills, physical and motor development, cognitive abilities, and behaviour.
BTLC is the only school in Calgary using the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) to teach preschool and kindergarten students with Autism and other developmental disabilities. We provide the intensity, individualization and a focus on functional skills needed for our students to achieve the greatest degree of independence possible and develop the capacity to participate in inclusive environments. Our students are successful because of our small class size, effective research-based teaching strategies, intensive programming, a high ratio of support for our children and our passion to make big things happen.
