We are currently recruiting for a Pipeline EIT to be based in our Calgary office but working for our Concord, CA Pipeline Group.

About the Role

  • Apply mathematical calculations and basic engineering principles to solve defined problems.
  • Prepare written reports, specifications, and other technical documents with guidance from senior engineers.
  • Assist senior engineers and designers in the production of project design drawings.
  • Prepare, coordinate and review deliverables in a variety of project related tasks.
  • Aid project managers in the preparation of proposals for new work.
  • Actively participate in multi-discipline teams consisting of engineers, designers and other specialists.
  • Willing to learn slurry hydraulics, take initiative in developing projects, and contribute to the team.

About You

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Mining, or similar Engineering field.
  • 0-2 years of previous experience working in an engineering consulting firm, production facility, or similar environment.
  • Familiarity with basic hydraulic piping calculations.
  • Experience in software such as Excel, engineering calculation and modeling programs.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Good organization skills, attention to detail and ability to problem solve.
  • Proven team player committed to support the requirements of project groups.
  • Ability to work from home during the Covid pandemic, and in the office after Covid.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (10 to 20%) (post-Covid).
