Reporting to the director, you will undertake and facilitate a variety of administrative tasks and support multiple departments. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to multi-task and adapt in a demanding fast-paced environment while producing high quality and precise output. Must display a positive attitude, proactive approach to problem solving and strong work ethic.
Job Descriptions
- Provide administrative support and assistance to the Director and Precast Manufacturing Plant
- Assist with the organization of workflow between the Precast Manufacturing Plant and other departments as needed
- Utilize multiple programs to enter, maintain, and update project data
- Order, receive and track inventory or materials
- Assist with work orders and purchase orders
- Produce high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines, and procedures
- Precise, consistent work output and a willingness to handle and complete administrative tasks as required or directed
- Administration duties including but not limited to data entry, photocopying, filing, ordering supplies, completing meeting minutes, etc.
- Must maintain confidentiality of documents and information across all levels of organization
Assets
- Previous experience in an administrative role or similar
- Familiar with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Comfortable reading and interpreting drawings
Requirements
- Proficient with computers and ability to grasp new programs
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Attentive to detail, organized and able to meet deadlines under pressure
- Professional and friendly demeanor with the ability to work in a team environment
- A valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Working hours are typically Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Must be flexible to work overtime and the occasional Saturday as needed
- Local to central Alberta or willing to relocate
- Must be eligible to work in Canada. Currently, we are unable to sponsor international candidates
