The Opportunity:
WSP Canada is currently looking to add a valuable member to its executive administration team, who will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support to the management team of the Power Canada group. Power Canada, a team of 300+ passionate and talented members located across Canada, is committed to helping its clients meet the rising demand for green power and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
The ideal candidate for this position is bilingual and will be based in one of the following WSP office locations: Calgary or Montreal. Having prior experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment providing administrative support, we are looking for someone who has earned a solid reputation as being reliable, professional, proactive and autonomous, and who is well-organized and can adjust quickly to conflicting priorities.

A day in the life:
- Provide dedicated support to the Senior Director (manage calendar, travels, expenses, etc.)
- Provide various administrative tasks for the management team;
- Coordinate internal meetings (virtual, in-person) and ensure their smooth running;
- Take minutes during meetings and follow up on actions;
- Perform the maintance of various internal collaboration tools of the team, i.e., resources planning, opportunities tracking, etc.
- As an integral part of the executive administration team, you will be required to develop an understanding of the business and the operations to provide appropriate assistance;
- Perform all other related tasks deemed relevant to the Administrative Assistant position;
What you'll bring to WSP ...
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or other relevant experience providing administrative support;
- A university or college degree as deemed relevant;
- Excellent communication skills, perfectly fluent in English (written and oral), intermediate level of French for oral communication is an asset;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, MS Teams, SharePoint sites and ease in learning new tools ;
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills;
