Production Field Operator(s).

Job description

Full-time position, reporting to the Lead Operator. The Contract Production Field Operator will complete daily

operations of Oil & Gas wells and associated Facilities. Facilities located in the Badger, Enchant and Chin

Coulee areas in Southern Alberta.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operation of production wells and injection facilities.
  • Gas processing experience a plus.
  • Contribute to a successful daily execution of the business plan by identifying opportunities to

maximize production, reduce operating costs and minimize downtime.

  • Provide and perform equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and good housekeeping practices.
  • Promote HS&E program(s) and provides input to policies & procedures.
  • Maintain positive company image.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 3+ years of oil and gas operating experience
  • Possess excellent communication skills, positive attitude and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong ability to evaluate and trouble shoot operational problems and make recommendations for
improvements.
  • Valid safety training certification.
  • Candidate must reside within a reasonable travelling distance of the facilities as it is an on-call

position.

Compensation

  • Competitive rate commensurate with experience.
