About the position
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Production Operator – 12 months is a key member of our Operations team and performs all warehouse duties within a unionized environment as required. If you are looking for a challenging role in a team orientated environment and a fast-paced facility this is the job for you!
What you'll do:
- Material handling of hazardous chemical ingredients.
- Prepares product orders for customers to include custom blending and packaging.
- Transload chemical into packaged containers (Drums, Carboys, Pails, IBC's ETC).
- Monitor inventory levels of Company products.
What you'll need:
- High school diploma or equivalent working experience.
- Demonstrated focus on safety, and an ability to follow detailed work instructions.
- Strong mathematical, and basic to intermediate computer skills.
- Forklift operation experience an asset.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
