Responsibilities and Duties
Service Coordinator:
· Day to day tracking and coordination of manpower in both hydraulic / cylinder shops, respectively.
· Responsible for day-to-day processing of parts orders for internal and external customers, including entering, ordering and expediting purchase orders
· Coordinate vendors for quoting, sales of materials to Ward's and logistics to Ward's Hydraulic Services LTD facilities as business dictates.
· Prepare service quotations for customers as required for hydraulic, mechanical and machining based works.
· Update and coordinate daily WIP meetings with other service administration staff and contribute information related to works
· Support service technicians in researching, sourcing, expediting and delivering parts requests to work area
· Works with customers in person, via telephone, or electronically in a timely and courteous manner; delivers strong service and salesmanship on the phone order desk and front counter parts sales
· Become competent and acquired knowledge to build hydraulic hoses through WHS training program
· Produces accurate, timely and efficient estimates and documentation for all parts transactions
· Covers and/or assists warehouse person in tracking or shipping product to both local and out-of-town customers and inter-branch locations
· Promotes company products and services
· Assists associates and account executives in closing sales and bringing in new clients
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
· Hydraulic Technical Experience would be considered an asset
· Class 5 License w/ Clean Driving Abstract
