We are seeking an experienced Tool Crib Attendant for Fort McKay Logistics LP. The incumbent is responsible and accountable for knowing and working in accordance with the Fort McKay Group of Companies LP Health and Safety Policy and will conduct all business in a manner that supports the vision, mission, and values of the Fort McKay Group of Companies LP.

Key focuses:
  • Maintain a clean and orderly Tool Crib area
  • Process tool request orders in a timely manner
  • Maintaining inventory and basic filing systems
  • Scheduling small tool maintenance and repairs when needed
  • Give proper care to the operation and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
  • Be alert to risks and threats in order to prevent losses before they occur
  • Must be dependable and reliable
  • Must be flexible and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skill
  • 500 Series; Tool Crib Floater
  • 6 on and 6 off schedule (3 days, 3 nights and 6 off)
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  • Grade twelve (12) Diploma or GED equivalent is required
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience is required
  • Retention of a valid Class five (5) driver's license and a 3 year clean drivers abstract is required.
  • Valid CSO or BSO certification is required
  • TDG ticket is an asset
  • Basic Computer Skills are required
  • Ability to speak, write and read English is required
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
This is a full time position located at Syncrude Base Mine and Syncrude Aurora site north of Fort McMurray, AB.
