Divergent Health Care is a busy multi-disciplinary injury and pain clinic in a large (5500 sqft) bright and modern space with warm welcoming accents. We are currently looking to expand our team to include an osteopath. This practitioner will be provided patients to treat using clinic protocols and the expertise that they have been trained on in their schooling. Most of that will be soft tissue work and the use of modalities such as shockwave therapy, IFC and more.
As an Osteopath at Divergent Health Care you work alongside a team of highly qualified clinicians in a full-service rehabilitation clinic. You should be a motivated and outgoing registered Osteopath who is comfortable performing mostly clinical and sports injury type soft tissue work in a busy environment. As a candidate, you are eager to work in a team environment with our physical therapists. You will provide the caring, compassionate, and professional care our patients' bodies require through:
- Your knowledge of the musculature system and injuries
- Your understanding of the importance of lymphatic circulation and drainage
- Your ability to provide deep tissue, strong, guided, and directed pressure
- Your expertise in safe guidelines for expectant mothers
Qualifications: * Graduate of a College of Massage Therapy diploma program
- Registration with the provincial Massage Therapists' Association
- Registration with the Osteopathic Association
- Previous practical experience working with WSIB and MVA.
