Position Summary

Support the Planning Department, working closely with Production Planners and Schedulers to manage data and assist where needed.

Essential Duties, Skills and Responsibilities

• Using Excel Spreadsheets to tabulate historical data and prepare tables and charts accordingly.
• Working with data to support the Planning Department
• Create pivot tables using Excel Spreadsheets
• Update Production Planning templates daily
• Enter Production Work Order data into tracking systems
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory while striving for excellence. The requirements listed below are a representative of the knowledge, skill, and/ or ability required.

• Education and/ or Experience – Currently working towards a degree in Supply Chain Logistics; work experience and knowledge of JD Edwards is considered an asset.
• Language Skills – English skills are required to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, memos, and verbal communication, etc.; Ability to write simple correspondence and to effectively present information one-on-one or in small groups.
• Mathematical Skills – Ability to understand, accurately record perform mathematical calculations.
• Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions, identify root causes and develop solutions; Ability to deal with standardized situations with variables.
• Computer Skills – High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Physical Demands – Sitting for long periods of time.
• Work Environment - Open with adequate lighting, relatively quiet, and controlled temperature.

Job Types: Full-time, Internship / Co-op

Salary: From $20.00 per hour
