Change Management Specialist, Project Delivery Office - ( 2200021L )
Description
The mandate of this position is to ensure that the Project Delivery Office is responsive to our project management community and provides the support it requires to achieve our strategic objective of exceptional project execution in a rapidly changing environment.
As the new Change Management Specialist, you will identify change management requirements and support change management planning and execution where corporate level changes impact the project management community.
You will play a key role in building the earned value management culture at Stantec by increasing employee adoption and usage of new systems and practices. Your primary focus will be on changes to business processes, systems, and technology.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute change management plans to support implementation of new project management tools, processes and practices
- Advise and support the PDO on strategies and activities to engage and connect Stantec's project management community
- Deliver online training for project managers. Assist in the development and continuous improvement of training assets. Coordinate and schedule logistics for training workshops and other events as needed
- Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications for the PM community
- Participate in cross-functional teams as needed, including but not limited to: Acquisitions & Integrations, PM Learning, Corporate Communications.
- Maintain current and relevant knowledge in organizational change management and communications
Qualifications
Capabilities and Credentials:
- Excellent communicationand facilitation skills
- Experience in preparing written communications to support change management initiatives
- Training delivery experience. Training design experience would be considered an asset.
- Familiarity with project management processes. CAPM or PMP certification would be considered an asset.
- Experience in engaging business leaders and consulting professionals regarding corporate policies and processes.
- Sound knowledge of change management principles, practices and methodologies
- Experience in the practical application of change management methods and strategy combined with a solid understanding of how people go through change and the overall change process
- Prosci change management certification or designation desired
- Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
Education and Experience:
- 4 years' experience and knowledge of change management principals, methodologies, and tools
- University degree in social sciences, communications, organizational development, or related fields
