Reliability specialist, consulting experience req'd for FT or Contract positions

Work location: Calgary, AB and other locations in AB and BC as needed

Canadian citizen or resident required

Must be open to travel (100%)

Duration: TBD, but likely several months

Deliverables: assisting with implementing a playbook for maintenance and reliability across client's asset portfolio

Business requirements:

  • Expert knowledge of overall maintenance and reliability framework or experience in Lean Construction
  • Industry sector: industrial construction, midstream, including gas processing, NGL fractionation, pipeline operations, terminal operations (loading, unloading, blending, storing), and related logistics (railcars, trucking, shipping)
  • Functional areas include:
  • Management Systems
  • Maintenance work order management - planning through to execution
  • Reliability engineering, including condition-based assessment, predictive and preventive maintenance design and planning, failure modes and effects analysis, critical equipment and bad actor identification, etc.
  • Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System, Root-Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)
  • CMMS knowledge (preferably Maximo as it is client's standard)
  • MRO inventory
  • Vendor management (equipment overhaul, specialized maintenance, inspections and calibration, etc.)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Freelance

Pay: $800.00-$1,000.00 per day

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Reliability Engineering: 5 years (required)
  • Management Consulting: 3 years (required)

Willingness to travel:

  • 100% (required)
