- Transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials throughout plant and warehouse manually, or with powered equipment
· Depending on the production section/ department duties can include; trimming of meat, loading and unloading of tumblers, cooking, and packaging of finished product.
· Keeps up to production line speed and operates some food processing, cooking and packaging equipment under supervision of supervisor and lead hands.
- Feed raw materials into production machinery
- Clean work areas and equipment
- Check products and packaging for basic quality defects
- Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties.
· Following of all GMP's as instructed during training (Good Manufacturing Practices)
· Following Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP's) when conducting sanitation in area of responsibility.
· Following work instructions and other references for manufacturing of food products.
· Ensuring that all PPE is cleaned and accounted for at beginning and end of shift
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $19.75 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
